“Smart”Realty Project targets NRIs in KeralaThursday, September 13, 2007
Kerala’s real estate market will see a new project take off next week in the vicinity of the Nedumbassery airport at Manjaapra. The Smart Village is being designed with the NRI customer in mind, offering apartments, villas and row houses on 55 acres of land. The Malayalee Realtors India Private Limited has undertaken construction of the site over 40 acres in the 1st phase. Premium villas catering to the requirements of NRI investors covering 2465 and 2415 sq. ft, row houses covering 1,912 sq. ft area, apartments sized 1,460 and 1,100 sq ft will be constructed, along with studio apartments measuring 600-800 sq. ft. Landscaped gardens will have a dedicated space of 10 acres in the complex, built around a rivulet which flows through the property. Malayatoor and Kalady, popular pilgrimage centres are located nearby. Athirapally, Ezhattumuhum and Cherai in the area also draw large tourist crowds. The Smart Village will incorporate unique features like a mini theatre, restaurant, health and wellness facilities, including a guest house. A convention centre with a capacity for 1000 persons, a boarding school and a mini stadium would be added in the second phase of the project.
