Indian Property Expo for Gulf NRIs Coming UpThursday, August 16, 2007
An Indian realty road show will be on through the month of November 2007 at three locations in the GCC countries. The Indian Builders Realty Expo 2007 is being organized by Mint Lemon Events at Sharjah, Kuwait and Riyadh, with an eye on the sizeable NRI presence in these nations. In Sharjah, where NRIs account for 2.7 million or 67% of the population, the expo will be held at the Radisson SAS Resort on the 5th and 6th of November, 2007. Non resident Indians in Kuwait, who comprise 10.2% of the country’s residents population, would be able to view Indian properties on the 8th and 9th of November at the International Fairs Ground, Mishrief. The IBRExpo will proceed to Riyadh on 12th and 13th November at the Al Mubarakiah Hall. Here again, there are a sizeable number (approximately 12.4% of the population) of NRIs with large savings and investment potential. Builders from India with properties between Rs.15 lakh to Rs. 50 lakh will showcase their projects to a cross-section of customers at the Realty Expo.
