Real estate in Udaipur, Rajasthan will receive a boost with the launch of a royal township near the Umaid Bhavan Palace belonging to the royal family of Jodhpur. Rs.1000 crore is likely to be invested in the Umaid Heritage project spread over 110 acres. Ess Gee Real Estate Developers of Mumbai will develop and market the prestigious township on land owned by the ex-ruler of Jodhpur, Gaj Singh. 410 heritage villas will be constructed within the township and would be sold at a minimum price of Rs.1.25 crore. The Umaid Heritage township will be built on the lines of Marwar architecture, similar to the neighbouring palace and include a holistic centre, school, club, 5-star hotel, hospital and shopping centre. A Reliance hyper mall covering 10 acres and a Royal Marwar Club spread over 6.5 acres will be built within the complex.
