Starwood Hotels & Resorts
Worldwide, a New York based hospitality ownership, management, and
franchis organization is likely to strengthen their presence in
India and Asia Pacific by announcing to sign a deal with a renowned
real estate player, Brigade Group to supervise Sheraton Bangalore
Hotel. The hotel building is expected to come up in April 2009.
Sheraton Bangalore hotel will known to be a part of a
mixed-use integrated township development – Brigade Gateway. The
master planning of the hotel is in the process with H.O.K, New York,
the largest architectural firm in the world, which clearly ensures
the building to be a world class lifestyle enclave including luxury
apartments.
Bangalore is an emerging city that shows
a lot of promise in different aspects. And real estate happens to
be one of these key areas. Also known for its ever rising industrial
and commercial growth acquired in the past few years, Bangalore
is rightly counted among the fastest flourishing metropolises in
India. This happening city offers tremendous prospects for growth.
Sheraton Bangalore Hotel will be strategically situated
in the upcoming business district in Bangalore, and in first-of-its
kind integrated township development. The Hotel will be looked upon
as the perfect place for business travelers to discuss business
as well as relax, truly reflecting Sheraton’s key traits of comforting
connections for business travelers, says Stephen Ford, Regional
Vice President for Starwood Hotels & Resorts, South Asia.
The central districts in most cities in India are shifting their
base away from contemporary locations due to scarcity of land. Both
the business center and the new international airport are in vicinity
to the site confirmed for the new Sheraton. This places the hotel
in an advantageous position in the business market.
Brigade Group has always stressed on adding to the quality of life
for its customers. And, the new Sheraton Hotel will compliment the
integrated array of amenities of the known Brigade Gateway Enclave.
Along with catering to requirements of corporations based in the
North Star office facility in Brigade Gateway and North Bangalore,
the hotel will also make up for the shortage of hotel rooms in the
garden city, Bangalore.
